Film star images stir memories at Claremont House

Wall display featuring Cary Grant and Audrey Hepburn Wall display featuring vintage Pears Soap advert

Larger than life images of film stars of a bygone era are designed to stir memories at Claremont House. Floor to ceiling images of Hollywood actors Cary Grant and Audrey Hepburn fill the walls of the hair salon and barber's shop at Claremont House.

A giant reproduction of a nostalgic Pears soap advert adorns bathroom suites, while the corridors are emblazoned with iconic Beverley landmarks, including the Minster and North Bar.

The images are a part of memory impairment facilities at our flagship home, built on the Victoria Road site of former pub The Victoria.

The images help to create a stimulating environment for people who may have varying degrees of memory impairment.
